Question: When doing finance, how can I determine when to use what formula? For example, I have 4 bonds with identical coupon rate of 7.25%, but they mature on 4 different dates (2yr, 5yr, 10yr and 20 yr) If they made all coupon payments yesterday, yield curve is flat, all bonds with the same YTM of 9%,

Question: Philadelphia Electric has many bonds trading on the New York Stock Exchange. Suppose PhilEl’s bonds have identical coupon rates of 9.125% but that one issue matures in 1 year, one in 7 years, and the third in 15 years. Assume that a coupon payment was made yesterday.

Question: Blake works for Woolworths Limited (WOW) and owns 5,000 Woolworths shares that he received in lieu of a bonus five years ago. In its recent results, Woolworths reported an NPAT figure of $1.294 billion. It has 1.207 billion shares on issue. Its current market price is $26.50.
